RMI Hunter Breeding Series offer classes in three age divisions for horses and for ponies; there are often two sections at a show. Classes are held at shows in USEF Zone III and USEF Zone IV, both of which now offer Best Young Horse and Best Young Pony Hunter recognition. Designed to keep the cost of showing young horses and ponies as low as possible, exhibitors are not subject to office fees, late fees, grounds fees, or other charges which must be borne by performance entries.
